The electronic expansion valve of the central air conditioner controls the opening of the valve by sensing the change of the superheat degree of the refrigerant at the outlet of the evaporator through the temperature sensing bulb, thereby adjusting the refrigerant flow entering the evaporator and matching the refrigerant flow in the copper pipe with the heat load of the evaporator.  When the heat load of the evaporator increases, the opening of the electronic expansion valve of the central air conditioner will also increase, i.e. the refrigerant flow will also increase, whereas the refrigerant flow will decrease.

Control superheat

The electronic expansion valve of the central air conditioner has the function of controlling the superheat degree of refrigerant at the outlet of the evaporator. The function of controlling the superheat can not only ensure the full utilization of the heat transfer area of the evaporator, but also prevent the occurrence of accidents of damaging the compressor due to liquid impact during suction, so that the central air conditioner compressor has a longer service life.

The electronic expansion valve of the central air conditioner can change the saturated refrigerant liquid at normal temperature and high pressure into refrigerant liquid at low temperature and low pressure and generate a little flash gas.  The pressure is reduced, so that the purpose of absorbing heat to the outside is realized, and the heat in the absorbed chamber can be accurately measured.
