Industrial chillers are mainly composed of the following components:
1. Compressor: The compressor is the core component of the whole refrigeration system and the source of power for refrigerant compression. Its function is to convert the input electric energy into mechanical energy and compress the refrigerant.
2. Condenser: During the refrigeration process, the condenser plays the role of outputting heat energy and condensing refrigerant. After the high-pressure superheated steam discharged from the refrigeration compressor enters the condenser, all the heat absorbed by it in the working process, including the heat absorbed from the evaporator and the refrigeration compressor and in the pipeline, is transferred to the surrounding medium (water or air) and taken away; The refrigerant high-pressure superheated vapor condenses back into liquid. 3. Capillary tube: capillary tube is not only the flow regulating valve in the refrigeration system of small water chillers, but also the throttle valve in refrigeration equipment. It is mainly installed between the dry condenser and evaporator of industrial water chillers. Its main function is to throttle and reduce the pressure of high-pressure normal-temperature refrigerant liquid when flowing through capillary tube, and change it into low-temperature low-pressure refrigerant wet vapor (most of which is liquid and a small part is vapor) which enters evaporator, vaporizes and absorbs heat in evaporator, thus achieving the purpose of refrigeration and temperature reduction.
4. Evaporator: Evaporator is a heat exchange device that relies on evaporation (actually boiling) of refrigerant liquid to absorb the heat of the cooled medium. Its function in the refrigeration system is to absorb heat (or output cold). In order to ensure that the evaporation process can be carried out stably and persistently, the evaporated gas must be continuously pumped away by a refrigeration compressor to maintain a certain evaporation pressure.
